Because our shelter building required thousands of dollars for repairs to make it safe and we just didn't have the funds, we had to close the building.  However, we continue to provide medical care to the abandoned and abused animals in the city of Merced.

Additionally, we assist other no-kill animal rescues and foster homeless animals, as well as have an active trap, neuter and release (TNR) program in the city of Merced.

We are in constant need of volunteers.  If you feel you would be a good foster or volunteer, please contact us by clicking the link under CONTACT US.
