WELCOME TO THE MERCED SPCA
Because our shelter building required thousands of dollars for repairs to make it safe and we just didn't have the funds, we had to close the building. However, we continue to provide medical care to the abandoned and abused animals in the city of Merced.
Additionally, we assist other no-kill animal rescues and foster homeless animals, as well as have an active trap, neuter and release (TNR) program in the city of Merced.
We are in constant need of volunteers. If you feel you would be a good foster or volunteer, please contact us by clicking the link CONTACT US.
SPCA Board of Directors Meetings and Agendas
The Merced SPCA Board of Directors consists of 5 volunteers for the SPCA. Each Director serves a term of 3 years. Listed below are your current Merced SPCA Board Members:

SPCA Board meetings are held every 2nd Monday of the month at 6 p.m. at:
